Great food and service! We even ran into Emeril himself and he took a photo with our group!

The prix fixe lunch options are the way to go. Love the soups and breads. Beautiful open kitchen.

Food:

Food was great! I really enjoyed my stake and salad. The ambient is really nice as well, though my only complaint would be the staff or rather the service. I felt like they were in a rush, though the place wasn't really packed, guess impatient would be a better term. And I really hope they fix this "issue" besides that I really had a nice and delicious lunch.

Food:

Very disappointing. We were seated between a large party of young men and a disgruntled table of people. I understand the young men were having fun and that is not a problem. We asked to be moved and were told they were almost through eating and would leave soon (They were not). The table on the other side was very displeased with something and spraying expletives about. The manager gave them free desserts to quite them down (maybe that's how you get service here) We and the two other tables in the area did not fare as well.

The food was mediocre at best. With so many great restaurants in New Orleans it is not a problem for us, we will never return. I hate to think of the out of town people that frequent this place thinking this is New Orleans' food and hospitality. Brennan's, Aurnaud's, Broussard's, Mr. B's, August, are all far better choices.

Service was superb the water glasses never f got empty, food came out quickly and was hot and excellent. Fried chicken for two was too much food and done just right. The banana cream pie is once in a life time good.
