10/22/2014 6:39 pmSo very disappointed. I grew up coming to Arthur Ave. Recently moved back and wanted some authentic Italian food. Besides the Manhattan prices, the portions were small and the taste was bland. 3 people in my group. I had "homemade" manicotti. I have had better at a mom/pop pizza place for HALF the price! Swordfish was about a $4-5 piece from market for $22. Pasta side was filled HALF way with water! I suppose they do T have a strainer in the kitchen. Stingy with bread and olive oil. And the cheese...even Olive Garden shreds fresh cheese @the table. Emilia's served preshredded cheese in the EXACT same jar as a local pizza shop. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Service was blah as well. If you're seeking delicious authentic Italian, look else where. |

05/19/2013 8:50 pmTasty standard red sauce Italian fare in the middle of the Arthur Avenue food and restaurant mecca. Lunch specials are a very good deal - well prepared, ample quantities and inexpensive. |

10/27/2011 11:26 pmMy favorite spot on Arthur Ave. Extraordinary food, amazing owners & staff. There is a lot of great Italian on Arthur Ave (even better than Manhattan's Little Italy, in my opinion), however, Emilia's takes the cake because they have the best bread to start you off, and Nick is the greatest server of all time. The fried calamari is unreal, and the Chicken Daniella is my favorite dish (and the Penne ala Vodka if you are craving pasta). For such great food, the value is unbeatable! |
