Fado Irish Pub, Chicago, Illinois Restaurant Details

Food:

Great food and atmosphere. I come here almost every trip to Chicago. The Irish breakfast is awesome...I think. I don't really know what an Irish breakfast is supposed to be, but this one is really good.

Good food, good atmosphere, great staff even when busy. Will come back again.

Manager was very aggressive and threatening. After paying $20 to watch the rugby we were told that we had to watch it downstairs on two very small TV's. When I asked if we could go upstairs if other people left (capacity issues) the manager became very threatening, said he wanted to talk to us 'outside'. We had only been on the premises for about 60 seconds. Wouldn't go back there if it was the last pub on earth.

There are other better Irish pubs in Chicago to watch the Rugby at, and they don't fleece you $20.

I came here on a Saturday night after trying to find a good place to go for girls night. We were looking for a fancier place to just dance at all night, this wasn't it, but I was so glad we ended up here. The other bars in this area were jam packed and impossible to get into. Fado was welcoming and the music was fun to dance to. Definitely not a place you dress up to come to, but I will make this my regular chill bar to go to in the future. The people here are down to earth and it wasn't impossible to get a drink.

Friendly staff with great service. Food is good and cold draught Guinness. What more do you want?
