It's a horse track in the middle of the city. If you're there for the view, there are probably better uses for your money. If you like to watch the ponies run and have fun with friends and family, it has a great atmosphere in a safe environment.

Food:

The horse track itself is a rusting dump. The infield is a parking lot. The view from the grandstand is of a strip mall. If someone was trying to construct the least visually appealing man-made landscape, this would probably be it. The OTB next door is much nicer, but they're always closing very early. I went there at 9:30 on a weekend night and was too late to get a beer and bet on races.
