Falbo Bros Pizzeria, Madison, Wisconsin Restaurant Details

Food:

I absolutely love the pizza at this place. The only reason I only gave it 3 stars is the guys that work there are either too stoned to have personalities or just suck at communicating/customer service. That type of thing drives customers away. For instance after ordering the employee says to me "that it"? And I said "yes sir that is all, thank you" "yup" and the click of the phone hanging up is all I got. It's not that hard to be courteous to people paying an astronomical price for your pizza.

We received VERY POOR and RUDE customer service. There were lude drawings and foul language all over our food boxes and we were accused of being racist for jokingly ask them to draw a dragon for friends we had over. When we called to speak to the manager we were told that we had it coming. When I told him if he couldn't handle his employees I would to to corporate he said would reprimand them but I doubt he did. The food was ok but not worth ordering from them again.

I've tried a lot of different pizza places and this is by far my favorite. The pizza is made fresh, always hot and delicious.

We love the Falbo Bros on Sherman and I accidentally ordered from the Park St. Falbo's via grubhub. While the salads were as fresh as the Falbo's on Sherman it took them 1.5 hours to deliver three salads. I will stick with my Sherman folks.

I received a call from my father in the hospital to pick up pizza for him. I Google mapped pizza places close and picked this one.

I wanted something more than fast food pizza and close.

It had plenty of toppings and they looked ok. The reason I have 3 stars instead of more is due to one of the pizzas not being cooked as much as I prefer. The slices had to be removed by scraping off the cardboard. I would prefer something to separate the pizza from the cardboard.

I did not eat any but everyone else said it tasted good. I do not know if this is due to situation (anything vs. Hospital food) but it was eaten and if it would have been cooked properly it might have been great.

I do not know if I will use them again. They were not bad and the ingredients looked good so I would not say gross but I am interested in how a proper pizza from them would taste. I just do not think I will put my own money out again to figure this question out so I will probably never get to answer this question.
