Outstanding little place. The lobster carbonara is outstanding!

I don't know about the other ratings, but this is our go-to place in Portland! The food is outstanding. Creative menus, quality local ingredients, excellent preparation, generous portions and beautiful presentations. The house-made pastas are out of this world! Efficient and friendly wait staff. Location is perfect in any season. Pleasant, relaxing environment all the way around.

Our eggs benedict were served without hollandaise sauce and there was no prior notification whatsoever. Our server (Ashley) should have advised us before placing the order that they were out so that we could order a substitution. After numerous attempts to get some satisfaction from the owner, Jeff, he was unwilling to be helpful in any manner. Too bad - he'll be loosing a lot more business than the good will of a simple inexpensive gift certificate for a fellow Mainer who has lots of friends and business connections in the community.

Had lunch there today, ordered a salad and a BLT. The salad came without dressing. My wife asked the waitress if it had been dressed, and she insisted that it had. On a second interaction, we insisted that she bring the dressing. My BLT was really an LT as there was no B. I was able to get the waitress to come to the table fairly quickly, and she offered to bring the B. I suggested that she adjust the price instead. I got $2.00 off.
STAY AWAY! Lots of other places to eat in Portland. Hard to believe any would short the customer so cavalierly.

My wife and I came here for brunch the first day of our honeymoon and we had some of the best food I've ever had for the price. My wife had the braised brisket and sweet potato has and it was out of this world. The brisket was absolutely delicious and sweet and the hash was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I had the wild mushroom cheeseburger. The mushrooms were all local and fresh and had fantastic flavor and the burger was to die for. We liked it so much that after walking around the Old Port for an hour trying to find a place to eat the next day we just went back here and the food and service were phenomenal again. We highly recommend it!
