07/16/2013 9:31 amThis used to be a good restaurant with excellent food, but not anymore. Arrived about 7:00 on Monday, two people at the bar, no table seated. OMG, thought that we had walked into the wrong restaurant....we had! Offered a wine menu, selected a wine which had been stored at too high a temperature and was ruined. Offered the menu, wow nothing on it that I couldn't have prepared with scraps from my refrigerator. Completely different menu than listed on their web site. Even the calamari was frozen! The waiter was very good and tried, but he had noothinnnggg to work with. We left without ordering (nothing on the menu worth ordering). This place is finished, don't bother to park. |

06/21/2013 4:39 pmWe drive from our home in The Woodlands at least twice a month to have Sunday brunch here! The entire place just absolutely rocks - literally, they have a DJ that spins live in the main dining room. Usually there is around 8-10 of us and we have not once had to wait for accomadations to be made as long as we get there around 11:30 -after that time there is a small line that accrues at the door, people don't want to leave! Picture a very nice patio on front and a shady courtyard patio out back,DELICIOUS food (my very favorite is the Cajun Eggs Benedict with a crawfish sauce) very southern chic'. The best part of all.. hold onto your hats.... a bottomless mimosa, yea.... bottomless for around $12 and they make them a perfect 80-20 just like I like them. We always have a blast, the waitstaff are extremely nice and always seem like they are having just as much fun. The manager makes continuous circuit around talking to everyone, and even the owner is regularly seen serving drinks or helping out with the breakfast buffet. If you are looking for a different non-stuffy place for Sunday brunch you can't beat it! |

03/19/2013 10:46 pmWell...what did I get for 21 buckaroonies?...a buffet that kept running out, dirty plates, a 20 min wait for silverware, 25 min wait for a bloody mary....our party was pretty fed up, the hubs was about to walk across the street...the manager, Patrick wouldn't even take anything off due to poor experience...in fact he ran outta there like he was on fire and into his car speeding away....i yi yi....its safe to say we will NEVER be back....and they claim to be #1 for brunch on their website...FAIL. When I originally wrote this review on Yelp...the manager, Patrick had the audacity to harass me with lies and a nasty comment in a private message, I had to report him and BLOCK him for contacting me ever again!...Oh yeh..dont just walk away from this place..RUN!! |

11/04/2011 8:19 pmI have eaten at Farrago at least 50 times in the last couple of years. Unfortunately, the last few visits have been terrible. Last night told my niece we would go to a great place for fish and chips. As we came in we were greeted in about 30 seconds by a man in his 50's, gray hair, about 5'10, white shirt and sweater vest. Ask if we wanted to eat at the bar or wanted a table. (The bar was near full and it would not have been a choice for me). Took a table nearby, he handed us a wine list and walked away. About a minute later came back with one menu and stated he would grab another. The restaurant was about half full on a Thursday, so having to look for menus was odd. (Most of the people were at the bar. There were at least three waitstaff standing together talking. We sat and as time passed we would have waiter look at us, catch our eyes and then quickly look away and walk away. |
