Filiberto's Mexican Food, Mesa, Arizona Restaurant Details

Food:

Hadn't been here in a while, but popped in on a saturday night. It was rainy, so there wasn't a wait time and there were two young guys working at the time. I ordered a simple bean burrito without cheese and side order of fries. When I pulled up to the counter, I paid. And then the kid asked me if I wanted extra cheese on that burrito. I smiled and said that it was no cheese please. And he says, "oh, ok." He had a smirk, I should have known.

Sure enough. Not only cheese on the burrito but, on the fries too. Funny! Obviously it was a joke to them.. Anybody that messes with your food and thinks its funny is obviously just a little punk @$$ B!%C#. I'd never trust anything coming out of there again. My last stop to this place. I didn't even bother with trying to go back and get it fixed, I just threw it away. Instead, I'll just let everybody know my experience and you can make your own informed choice.

This was my first time visiting Filiberto's. The cashier was very unhelpful and extremely rude. She was informed that I'm new to the area from New York. I also let her know that I was unfamiliar with the menu. Her listening skills were horrendous, making me repeat myself over and over again. This young woman was talking at me the whole time as if I was bothering her. Completely disgusted by this experience. If this is the kind of representation Filiberto's has, I want no parts of it. I would give zero stars if I could!

Food:

Shitty as employees. They never welcome you when you pull up, don't repeat the order, don't give you your total, and they take FOREVER making your food. I've been here two other times since I moved here in 2012 and it hasn't changed. I'm officially done coming to this location. There's a location up the street on main & Dobson, its a little further, but I'm willing to drive there because their employees are much nicer.

This location BLOWS. Ive been here several times since its right across from my work and they are either CLOSED or dont answer the drive thru.. They ignore customers all the time.. Its a shame cause this location would be very busy with people in the late night from the hospital staff..

This place is horrible. I have given it two chances. First of all, I asked for three rolled tacos with a side of limes. They gave me lemons. Then they said they don't have limes. What Mexican place doesn't have limes?! Whatever, the cheese on my tacos wasn't melted. The service is terrible. Don't go here. Not real Mexican food at all!
