Finley's Irish Pub & Eatery, Largo, Florida Restaurant Details

I was not a fan of my experience here. It may be different here during peak hours but I came to get a quick lunch around 2 or 3 and the whole place had a weird vibe that made me feel pretty unwanted. The lone bartender was on her cell phone the entire time. She put it down maybe 4 times total. The other patrons at the bar were regulars and didn't seem to mind. The food wasn't bad. They have your typical "try to be irish" fare of corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips, etc. I didn't hate the fish and chips but I wasn't completely wowed, either. I sort of got the vibe that we were the weirdo people to be there and I won't be going back.

Was very disappointed, my boyfriend and I were very much looking forward to eating here before I had to work a late shift this Thursday. Sat down and got our drinks, waitress asked if we wanted to eat so she brought us menus. 35 minutes and two empty beers later, she had still not come over to get our food order. We had to ask the manager for our tab and we'll now be enjoying a fast food dinner instead of the fish and chips I was craving.

I live in Manchester in the UK and visited Finley's in November 2014 what a great pub, Love the food, the garlic wings are the best around the beer's good and the staff great.
Great music and atmosphere and the locals are a credit cracking afternoon sat in the sunshine drinking beer and some more beer.
I will be back in soon in 2015 for some more !

This is one of the worst places I've ever been. No one would seat us, had to ask a waitress to seat us. Waitress wouldn't check on us, actually went off duty and was sitting at the bar with friends, drinking. Had to ask to have someone to refill drinks and bring us a check. Talked to the manager who had a poor attitude and offered no compensation or apology to the way we were treated. When he asked about the food I politely told him I was surprised the Shepard's pie had no cheese. (It was very bland.) He got huffy, told me how much of it he sold a week and that he wasn't changing his recipe. I have read other reviews stating how rude this manager is and I've seen for myself it's true. Never been treated so poorly by restaurant staff and never going back.
