I like it. It's Laszlo's with a slightly different menu. Empyrean Ales are always solid. The staff is always great, and their service is fast. If any server walks by and sees that you need something, they ask and take care if it. Not just "your" server. Good system.

One of my favorite restaurants in Lincoln. Try the Collapser.

Never had any problems here. Place is very nice and the staff is always respectable. No reason to complain. Great food.

The manager, Nate, just saved our party! We had another Lincoln restaurant reserved for a surprise 40th birthday celebration, however they cancelled on us with two day's notice.

We called Fireworks, expecting them to say "No."

They didn't. The manager came on the phone and was beyond accommodating. We now have a party room reserved (far nicer than the one that cancelled) and staff waiting to make this a wonderful evening.

Nate, you're the best! Thank you!!!

Will not return to this restaurant. Two of my last three visits have been well below par here. Early last year my girlfriend and I walked in the front door, was not greeted by anyone (there was a girl at the front desk mind you). My girlfriend and I stood in front of her desk for 5 minutes before she even acknowledged that we were there in front of here. She was not on the phone either. This is the first time I've ever been completely ignored walking into a restaurant, let alone a restaurant that is supposed to be upscale. Called and let manager know about it after we left and he sent gift card by mail.

Thus past Sunday I finally decided to use the gift card. Same scenario, my friend and I walk in the door, this time no one at the front, no greeting/welcome. We went and sat down at the bar, again to find no one there. No bartender for 5 minutes and managers were in back room talking. Bartender finally made it out and took our order. We ate and we left. The worst part of it all (aside from the terrible service) is that my friend and I both kissed work the next day with food poisoning. We both had the same meal. Not a coincidence there. I will not go back to this establishment.

If they can't greet you at the door with a smile, or greet you at the door at all, how do you think your food and experience are going to be the rest of the time you're there?
