I have only been there for lunch, so that's what I'm rating. The fish and chips is awesome, one of my favorites. You get four chunks of fish about 2 or 3 inch cubes, covered in a batter that has some kind of herbs or spices mixed in, just enough to give it a hint of flavor (it's not hot/spicy, it's savory). The fries are also awesome, being a little crispy on the outside and soft and perfect on the inside, then sprinkled with some seasoned salt. I always order this with the New England clam chowder, which is probably the best in this town (and better than many in other towns). The tartar sauce has a home-made quality to it, with a decidedly plain and creamy taste (not the kind with a vinegar tang). Even the ketchup tastes like it might be home-made, but I've never asked.
My other favorite menu item is the bacon-cheeseburger, known as the Ted Nugent burger. This is probably the best-tasting burger in town, thanks to the real ground beef that actually tastes like beef. The beef flavor actually provides a sort of baseline flavor that the other ingredients ride on top of, and the bun doesn't mask the other flavors. You might want to request the bacon be cooked crispier, though.
Those are the only menu items I ever order. They're so good, I've never felt a need to try anything else. Maybe someday.
At lunchtime there usually seems to be only one waitress (sometimes two), who usually does a decent job (it's usually not terribly busy at lunchtime). Occasionally I have to wait a bit for a refill or the check, but that happens everywhere I go.

The bouncers at the door tried to charge for entrance but luckily we had called ahead of time and told him we knew the entrance was free. Otherwise it would've gotten three stars.
