I dont see what the rave was about..AT ALL!! This place sucked..It was noisy as hell and crappy expensive food to boot. The shrimp skewers were the first joke of this place..Shrimp skewers? It was one sorry ass no flavor SINGLE shrimp on a stick..I also had their dry ass steak for $70 with some bazaar ass crap veggies that made no taste sense what so ever..3 little carrots smaller than a pinky finger on a midget,,some weird squash slop..I was fooled to think was potatoes..NOT! and some rabbit food greens.Just stick to alcohol and bread If you can keep them to keep bringing it to you..The Cheesy Scallop potato side dish was better than everything they had on the menu. After dropping $400 plus on 4 people that wont return either...Ive had better food at Dennys..

Not somewhere I usually go unless it is a business function or a special occasion. This was the case last Friday. I received a $40 off coupon from Am Ex and it was my wifes birthday. We got there early at 5:15 for a 5:30 reservation and were promptly seated. We were one of the first tables seated. Tommy, our waiter was attentive and explained the specials. We both got the 5 oz filet medalions (2) oscar style which was the chef's special for the evening @ $43.00. 2 sides and each a drink and the bill is $140 w tax.. Is it worth that much? You be the judge. The food, atmosphere, service and quality were all great. We enjoyed the meal and the $40 was the reason we came here. Could I go to TGIF or Outback for a similar experiance? Absolutely not.

$55 for a tiny fillet and two bites of scalloped potatoes and I asked for well done and it came out charcoal and they did not even ask me if it was cooked right. Last time I went to the one in Peoria and it was good, but the risk of a repeat of last night for the exorbitant price I will take my steak dinners at the Keg, Firebirds or even Texas Roadhouse are half the price if not less for WAY more food and it is always good or great. More expensive is just plain stupid sometimes.

Flemings had the brilliant idea of serving a special Easter Brunch. It was a Disaster: the kitchen could not handle the volume.
We arrived and had to wait 20 minutes for our table. No food for over 45 minutes after reservation time: Unacceptable. One each of the 3 starters and 3 desserts were not available. The eggs were cold and uninspiring. For a wine specialist they served an excessively sweet Bellini
Stay away on holidays/ special occasions

We called and had a reservation for 8:30 pm. We were not seated until 8:54 pm. They were profusely apologetic and kept us advised as the tables were clearing. Not a big deal for us, as we were in no hurry. A beer and a mixed drink at the bar cost us $20 (including tip), which is too much, so there is no value in hanging out at the bar at this place. Once seated, it took over 40 minutes to get our food. However, the waiter and the food service Manager were once again, very apologetic and gave us free drinks and a free appetizer without us asking, which was very nice and made the wait meaningless to us. The steak I had was incredible! It was the prime ribeye. My wife had the porcini filet mignon. It too was awesome. We had the mushrooms and shared a baked potato as sides and shared a very nice Fleming house salad with walnuts. Again, all very good. We did not have dessert and carried out a bag of what we could not eat since the portions are indeed generous. Our cost worked our to be about $75 per person. Add to that number $10 per person if you do dessert. Also, add about $10 per beer, wine, or regular mixed drinks to your tab depending upon your capacity to imbibe. As we were finishing up, the service manager came over and was very nice and again apologetic for the time issues. He then asked us to accept a coupon good for up to $50 at any Flemings! In addition, when he saw that we had a Valet ticket he offered to arrange for our car to meet us at the front. Needless to say, we were impressed with the superb service on a busy Saturday night, and the caring attitude of both our waiter and the service manager. For these reasons, and in spite of the tardiness in seating and serving issues, we still recommend this place if you really want a great steak and don't mind shelling out $85 to $100 per head.
