Wonton soup was great as well as the steamed dumplings. My husband expressed that the hot and spicy beef was not what he expected. It was not spicy at all. My son tried the sesame chicken and stated it was ok. The Pad Thai and egg roll that accompanied it was hideous. The pad thai was like no other pad thai I ever tasted. Won't be eating here again. It is not what it used to be.

This place used to be my favorite place in Lubbock. The fried rice and egg drop soup with jasmine tea were a regular order of mine ever since I was a kid. I hadn't been here in a year since we no longer live in the area and apparently it has changed hands a few times since the last time I had been there. I was very disappointed this last time. The fried rice didn't have as many veggies or much flavor like it used to have. I can't put my finger on what it was, but the egg drop soup tasted bland and just a bit off and they didn't even have the jasmine tea I always have ordered the years and years we have been going here. I honestly am unsure how much longer we will go here now..

This used to be my favorite Chinese food place in Lubbock. I just visited there after not having been in a while. Place was clean, service never looked at us or checked on us after we overpaid for our food at the register. I ordered walnut shrimp. The shrimp itself was tasty, but it was covered in "cream sauce." After a few bites, i realized that it was not cream sauce, it was miracle whip.....sweet and tangy miracle whip. The kind that is good on a turkey sandwich but horrible on hot crispy walnut shrimp. My friend had some sort of shrimp soup that had "lobster sauce." After tasting that one, i realized it was thickened bland egg drop soup with some steamed shrimp in it. Just horrible. This is lazy cooking. While some things there may be good (e.g. dumplings), these two dishes were almost (and i don't use this word lightly) inedible. I left hungry and disappointed in a place that I used to look fondly on.

Service was very friendly. But the food was awful and omg was it over priced! It was our first time going and it will be our last time. Waste of money my kids took one bite and they hated it so did I. Yuck!
