My mom insisted on getting me a whole deboned deep fried chicken filled with sticky rice for my birthday last year. Yup, that's a thing, and it was delicious. The other dishes were good, too, but that was the most-anticipated dish. Must call and order that one in advance.

Great food. Helpful staff. Met Danny out front who told us the food was good so we should go in. Lots of people inside and that is always a good sign.

Best Chinese restaurant in the City of Oakland. I love Chinese food & find this place to be the far best. Back in the late 70's I used to go to Hunan's on Franklin & it was the best but they went out of business. There's another Chinese restaurant establishment there but there's no comparison to Hunans or Fortune. But Fortune food is excellent & very moderatly price.
