I went to Frenchies Italian food restaurant walked in and it was very cool place.My wife order some food that I thought it was a little pricey, until I got home and my wife and had a wonderfully meal,we were very happy,and it really was too much for both us.We loved every bite.If you want a nice real Italian go to Frenchies.

Been here a few times. Food is great like always!
This time the service was not as great. It was a group of 5 that went, and one person got their food after the other 4 were already done eating. Other than that, good food and big plates!

Looks like a hole in the wall. But WONDERFUL true Italian food. The meatballs are amazing. Highly recommend!!!!

Great family run place near NASA JSC. I come for the pork roast sandwich whenever I'm in town. Eating one now! Super busy at lunch. Go early. Dinner seems to be less crazy.

My husband and I came here for a evening date. We were seated near the front with two other tables being used by employees/owners to eat or hang out while having cross table conversations. It wasnt that bad, but a little annoying.

The food was mediocre. See for yourself, if you think this review is unreasonable.

The main issue came when we paid. My husband slipped a $20 bill in with his card and asked the waiter if we could do $20 cash and the rest on the card. The waiter acknowledged and returned with the receipt to be signed. Slightly confused that the receipt had the full amount of $44 on the bill, we assumed they printed a full amount so we knew what to tip; whereupon we left $5 because for us it was so-so service and food.

A few days later my bank account reflected a full $44 charge from Frenchies. I called on a Saturday and the owner told me it must had been a mistake and asked if I had my receipt, which I did and he told me he would call me on Monday when the book keeper was in. My husband and I were in the area Monday night and decided to stop in since they never called us. The owner told my husband that the waiter probably just thought it was tip. In fact, he said it as if we just needed to move on! A $20 +$5 tip on a $44 dinner sounds nuts. He implied that if we just wait a few more days, then the book keeper could look into it if we were really so concerned about it.

The week went by and no call. Honestly, instead of dragging this out, if the owner wanted to make this right then it would have happened right away. Unfortunate for them because we wont be making this a regular place nor suggesting it to anyone in the near future.
