Food:

This place is hit or miss. Somedays I love it and some days I hate it. The food is usually good. I would recommend going elsewhere most of the time.

I will never forget the service here. The waiter was great. I went in, and I am Indian and follow the Sikh faith. He saw me that I had a turban and a beard, and immediately guessed the 3 or 4 most important things about me : I don't eat meat or egg, I don't drink alcohol and that I love spicy food! With that, he proceeded to explain to me the veggie and eggless options and brought me tobasco sauce without me having to say a word! Great stuff.

Food wise, it was pretty good! Fajitas were great, timing was good, presentation was good, atmosphere was good. Not a bad place to eat.

It felt a little crowded as it's a small place but not bad otherwise.

Don't go here very often but food & service has always been pretty good. So it was lunch time, chilly rainy day, coming down with a cold & wanted some soup but coffee shop doesn't have soup in summer. Ordered Tortilla soup to go at Frida's bar, bartender offered me glass of ice water. Waited just a few min. for what they said was soup made up as it was ordered. Back at the office I opened up this nice bowl of broth with huge chunks of chicken. Generous amts. of shredded Mex.cheese, tortilla strips, guacamole slices & slices of jalepeno came in separate containers. I think it cured me!

One evening I and two friends visited the Frida Mexican Grill. One was from out of town visiting for the first time. We planned to have a great dinner and catch a show. During dinner I needed to use the restroom and was disgusted to find it dirty, smelly, and with a toilet full of vomit. I mentioned it to a waitress to hopefully avoid anyone else having the same horrible experience. While finishing dinner we noticed flies, a bit worrisome considering the season. Not wanting to ruin the evening, we grinned and bared it. I am sorry to say I was sick pretty soon after and it ruined the evening. My friend from out of town was also sick, into the next day even. I wish we would have chose elsewhere to dine.

Food:

While I have enjoyed this place in the past, this evening we found the menu greatly reduced, prices greatly increased and we were seated at a table and promptly ignored for fifteen minutes. We munched on chips and drank water and waited. And waited. When we could finally take it no longer, we left. Not surprisingly, we could find no one to make comment to on the way out the door.

Busy is one thing. Totally ignoring a customer is another. Very, very unprofessional.
