06/01/2016 4:45 am"Still groovy after all these years", Weaver Lilley's "casual" but "romantic" American "gem" near Rittenhouse Square offers "wonderful meals" served by a "gracious" staff; some find the digs featuring "mirrors and small lights" "a little campy", but others find the upstairs tank bar" "mesmerizing." |

02/05/2013 12:00 amGreat staff (cute bartender!) good food. I like the aquarium, even though it only has one fish in it. The mirrors make the otherwise cozy space seem bigger. I'll definitely go back. |

01/25/2013 2:57 amOur first time here was during Restaurant Week, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Three of us had the asparagus appetizer, which was crisp and delightful and pleasantly dressed. All four of us had the steak main course with mashed potato and summer squash, along with a very pleasant and pungent sauce for the steak. All of the steaks were perfectly cooked to the degree each guest had requested. The wine, an '08 red Priorat, was rich and superb. My only criticism is that the desserts were all sweet (no fresh fruit available), but this is relatively minor, since we do not regularly eat desserts. We expect to eat here again from the regular menu. |

05/12/2009 1:41 amFriday Saturday Sunday is a cozy, romantic spot not too far from Rittenhouse Square. There\'s no host standing when you come in, and the dining area is divided between two floors, but that just adds to the charm of the place. The setting is perfect for a date and the food will not disappoint. I\'ve enjoyed all of the salads there, with the Five Leaf Salad with Goat Cheese being my favorite. The soft goat cheese and honey go together beuatifully with the greens. The decadently creamy mushroom soup is an excellent way to start off the meal on a cold night. The salmon of the day and the steak specials are what I usually go for. Friday Saturday Sunday is the first place I ever ate wasabi mashed potatoes and loved them! The fresh homade desserts are tasty and not too rich and round off the perfect date. |
