Friendly's, Rochester, New York, Ice Cream Restaurant Details

They used to be my favorite place to go but recently I started noticing they smell like public bathrooms do. Like, the entire restaurant smells of bathroom and it's near impossible to not want to throw up my food.

I go there @ least once a week and and only had one bad experince with there service.

We were on vacation to visit family up north. We went to Friendly's to eat dinner only to be turned away because they had the proper accommodations but claimed their policy said they were not allowed to use the equipment. We have gone to countless restaurants with our 5 month old infant and all have either the high chairs that can be flipped under to accommodate an infant car seat, and it clicks in place, or have a sling for the infant car seat. This particular restaurant had the high chairs that flipped but would not let us use one. Instead, the hostess wanted us to place our infant car seat on an unsecured chair. The chair had a back, but no arms. For safety reasons and poor accommodations, we decided to eat elsewhere.
Surprisingly, for a so-called family restaurant, once we had a family we felt no longer welcome.
