01/26/2015 4:08 pmI love the homey feel of this place, and the cool, down to earth staff. I've always had a most wonderful experience here, and that's over many years of going. The breakfast food is delicious, the red flannel hash and blueberry pancakes are to die for, I can't find the like anywhere else. I've never tried the lunch things as I always come for the breakfast. It's so good that, yes, on weekends, expect to wait for brunch, and the wait staff is extremely busy, but still do a really good job. During the week the service has always impeccable. I'd say it's really well done home cooking. It's not upscale or anything, but that's part of it's draw. If I'm in the mood for upscale, I go somewhere else. I'm not sure the problem of the people who are complaining. It's plain, it's diner like, but the food is much better than your average dinner, and the people are nice. |

02/21/2013 4:25 pmJust a quaint, little cafe. Nothing to write home about, really. The food was good and reasonably priced, although it was nothing special. The service could have been better. My table was short was pair of silverware so that person had to wait even longer until they were able to eat their food. I had finished my meal by the time the refill of my water that I asked for came. |

10/11/2012 10:15 amAlthough the omelet and special breakfasts are expensive, the food is dependably delicious. It's always so hard to decide between stacks of pancakes, French toast, or their wonderful egg dishes. Not to mention the homemade muffins. Coffee is great, booths are fun, but the bathroom is not fancy! There will be a line out the door on weekends so come early or come on a weekday and meet some locals! |
