04/07/2015 3:03 amAs a Wisconsinite temporarily living in AZ, I was so excited to find a Wisconsin bar near me to watch the championship game of March madness. When I went, I was turned away because my valid Wisconsin driver's license was printed vertically instead of horizontally. Although a senseless law, this on its own wouldn't merit a poor rating, but the bartender was rude and condescending about it, implying that I am a child, and saying that I needed a "big people" ID. I understand that you need to follow state law, but there is no reason to be condescending about it. I am an adult, and that license is valid for 6 more years. Acting like I am underage or using an invalid ID is uncalled for and ruined a night I was otherwise very excited about. |

10/21/2014 9:26 pmI have been going to karaoke at G Bar G Lounge for 4 weeks now, and I haven't had ANY bad experiences. Cheryl and Brent with Dragonfly Karaoke are very good. they are completely computerized, and if you want to sing the same songs you sang three weeks ago, you can. I have requested some doozies and they had them! One time I handed Cheryl a list of 12 songs from various different artists, and only one (1) was not available. Also, both Cheryl and Brent are good singers, although that shouldn't be a prerequisite, after all it's karaoke, and you're there to have fun! |

09/26/2014 10:36 pmI went last night for the kareoke. Great sound, good song selection, friendly DJ. Beer is actually cheap. Only problem is it ended at 10:30, but I guess that's good for the snow-birds that the bar caters to. I don't know what what 'Blackyesir' was talking about, unless he is upset at somebody. |
