Food:

My wife and I frequent this Garbanzo often. To answer a few issues raised in other reviews
- They always stay open 'til closing (9PM). We know because we are always racing to get there in time.
- Their portions do seem to be a bit smaller than at other Garbanzos we've been to. Unfortunate, but not bad enough to keep us from going back. Dunno why they do this.
- I always get the chicken, and mine has never been burnt. It does have a nice light char on it from grilling. If you want baked or boiled chicken, don't get this. If it's been sitting too long, it can start to get a bit dry. Otherwise it's fantastic.
- We've never gotten ill from eating here. That would suck.

Now a few comments of my own:
- Overall, I think the flavors of the food are fantastic, and the value is great. Not to mention that it's fairly healthy.
- A few of times (in over a hundred visits) my wife has found grit in her food. I never have. So I suspect it's in the tabuleh, which I never get.
- It seems like they throw away a lot of food at the end of the night. Why? Sure, the meat and prepared veggies probably shouldn't sit around. But there are plenty of homeless shelters and such that I'm sure would be happy to have day old pitas. Or they could sell them at a discount the next day. Or give them away to their last customers (us). :)

Went there today after going to the ones on Colorado Boulevard several times, which I love. Sadly, this one doesn't measure up to the other two. I'm not sure if the staff was told to skimp on the portion sizes, but they were pretty chintzy. The people in front of me kept having to ask for more. I had a similar issue. Other than that, I like the food. I've never gotten sick from eating at a Garbanzo's. I'm sure the other reviewer and her husband simply got a bug.

Good and inexpensive Mediterranean food, but I still prefer falafel!
