12/28/2013 10:05 pmIt was my first visit to the Garden Spot. I heard about it on the radio and was excited to try a healthy option and I thought the soup would be a good choice for my grandson who wasn't feeling well. The iceburg lettuce was limp and I assume it was because it wasn't cold but the other options on the salad bar were plenty. The bread was not warm and it was crunchy on the outside, the red velvet cupcake was flavorless other than the power sugar icing. I heard they had 5 to 6 soups but there was only 3. He liked the veggie soup and I liked the cabbage soup but there was only one other soup. The rice and ground beef was cold. They had some really good chicken but when I went back for a second piece they were out. |

11/17/2013 5:21 pmGood buffet with a great salad bar. The price is right here & the decor is pretty nice too. Unfortunately the service out in the dining area left much to be desired, and some of the dishes and utensils didn't exactly look spotless (nothing too bad though). Regardless, I mainly came here for the salad bar & I was very happy with that. |

09/02/2011 11:23 pmAs long as you're busty and you're moving product, you really can't go wrong with salad buffet. They every topping you need for a great lunch time salad. Aside from salad, the meal includes all-you-can eat soup, baked potato, baked yam, mediocre pasta with mediocre red/white sauce, mediocre bread sticks, and some mediocre pastries. The service is always lacking for reason, but you rarely need to encounter the staff since it's a buffet. My biggest gripe is that there is no soft drink refill station. It seems it would save some man hours having to interrupt staff to refill the drinks. I find the layout awkward. There are a lot of big tables and not enough intimate tables. It almost feels like cafeteria style, but with everyone trying to get a private tables. They need to stick to four-top tables. I always walk away satisfied, but it's not exactly a "healthy alternative" to fast food. |
