I've been visiting this location for years. The food is pretty good. The service is decent. Last night I ordered a to go order, but an item was left out. The manager (Ashley) was very nice and apologetic. She offered to remake it or refund me for the item. Her disposition was pleasant, which made the experience not so bad.

The food was good - i ate the shrimp fajita which was nice

First, let me say that I usually don't write reviews of places that I've eaten at, but I had such a positive experience here I thought I'd share it. When I arrived at the restaurant, my wife and I waited for about 20 minutes before we decided to leave. As we were leaving, the service manager caught us and told us that he would comp us an appetizer. So we sat back down and ordered. This manager was one of the hardest working managers I've ever seen in a restaurant. He came by to check on us several times. As we were leaving, he asked us how everything was and gave us a couple of gift certificates. I know this place has received some negative criticism as of late, but this guy is working extremely hard to turn this restaurant around. If we were to have left, we would have never returned, but because he worked to make our experience positive, we will be repeat customers. For those of you who received bad service before, please give the new service manager an opportunity to earn your business. He will make it right, I can assure you. For the people from On the Border who respond to these reviews, make sure you hang on to the service manager from this store, he's one of the best!
