The food alone is worthy of 5 stars, but combine that with the friendliness of the staff and the atmosphere it is hands down my new favorite German restaurant. I highly recommend their Schnitzel!

The service was really slow. I'm not sure if it was the waitress we had because the people next to us, who were very loud to the point it was hard to hear our own conversation, their waitress was always stopping by and bringing food, filling drinks, and even checked on us. Our own waitress would only stop by when she had to bring something.

So the food, well that didn't make up for anything. The only thing that arrived quickly were the drinks. we arrived around 730pm and didn't leave till 9pm. Two people and there for 1.5 hours because the service took that long. The appetizer, which was just two types of cut up sausage, took about 30 mins to arrive. Now the place wasn't packed or overly busy, so 30 mins for some cooked sausage? Well the main course took even longer and wasn't that great. Mine arrived, but I had no silverware. The girl would leave quickly after bringing something, so it was difficult to ask her anything. I basically sat there for her to come back to ask for silverware and ask for the salad. She came back with a salad, which was wrong, and I sat there waiting for her to come back again. About 10 mins later she came back and said sorry that isn't your salad, took it and switched it out. The only thing that was decent was the salad and potatoes. The check arrived quickly, so we got out of there as soon as it was signed. Would NOT go again. Ever!

Proper German sausages and amazing potatoes, a wide selection of import beers, and a friendly atmosphere will have you feeling right at home in no time. The hours are a little awkward, so make sure they're open before you set out, and if you're coming on the weekend, you had better make reservations, as it is a small location. Totally worth the small extra trouble!

We came over based on the review. I totally disagree with all the good and best reviews. The Green salad was good. But the Cordon Bleu in a Bretzel was dry. And it isn't a good idea to have the Cordon Bleu in a Bretzel. To have it like a hamburger. Bratkartoffeln (fried potatoes) was so so. And my Leberkäse was too thin for the $14.99 price. And lastly the sweet tea wasn't good either. The price was a rip off. I have lived in Frankfurt for 10 years. So me and my german friend know how good german food tastes like. We left the restaurant very disappointed. Not going back there anymore.

Excellent place to eat! The food and beer were very good. The waiter was more than helpful with any questions that we had. Almost the whole place was reserved (its a Friday night) so calling ahead might be useful. Overall great experience.
