06/30/2013 2:14 amMy wife's a crabcake connoisseur and was not impressed by Gigi's crabcakes. Rice was good, though. Shrimp tacos were good. Service could have been more attentive (place was empty). No rating for Decor (but G+ requires one) since we sat on the sidewalk, and well, it's a Philly sidewalk. |

02/17/2013 4:55 pmWe had to go there last minute for my daughter's birthday. They accommodated a party of 11.. they were so nice and fun. The food was great-- service with a smile and all around ended up to be a fantastic evening. |

08/14/2012 7:41 pmI made a 1:30 reservation on Sunday for Brunch. While Open Table shows that they have brunch (with unlimited Mimosas or Bloody Marys) until 3PM the website for Gigi showed 2PM. We arrived before 1:30 and were seated. The waiter (very nice) took our orders for BRUNCH. He then returned to tell us that the chef REFUSED to cook Brunch. I pointed out that their website showed 2PM for the end of Brunch and the waiter told me that it was still active in their computer but the chef REFUSED to cook any Brunch items. Needless to say, I was NOT HAPPY. I ordered the Betsy Ross burger, medium rare, and it was cooked too much and was NOT AT ALL tasty. I was VERY disappointed in the entire meal. It's sad when the best part of the meal is the Iced Tea! |

04/29/2012 12:16 amI have been to GiGi's 4 times, 3 of which were for restaurant week. Today, I went for lunch and was EXTREMELY disappointed. The floor under the table were my group was seated was covered in food..my foot kept slipping under the table. My favorite item, the cheesesteak empanadas were sub-par at best. And a pressed cubano sandwich is NOT turkey, ham and cheese on an Amoroso roll, that was toasted in the pizza oven. I must say, not sure if I will go back again. GiGi, you let me down! :-( |
