Ginja Sushi, Henderson, Nevada, Sushi Restaurant Details

Ginza sushi is one of the best sushi restaurants in Henderson, if not Las Vegas. I was so pleased with everything im still here, writing the review at the bar. Ice cold beer, delicious and well portioned sushi, with service that'll make sure youre always happy. All you can eat is a must!

Food:

Ginza use to be a 5 and Diner. They never completely changed the motif. It's sushi in a 50's diner, but for vegas it's pretty damn good sushi for a reasonable price. And I love the staff. Itadakimasu!

I had been here a couple times last year and it was OK. But when I went back, I could not believe how bad it was. I ordered a roll that was meant to have eel and advocado on the top. I expected something good, since we were ordering al la carte and not AYCE. When it came, it was small and pathetic looking, and there was no advocado on top. This was strange, but I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. When I questioned it, she seemed very suprised and I had to point to the description (and picture!) on the menu to prove my point. She took the roll but soon returned with the exact same roll. She also had a small plate with three tiny slivers of advocado. I was then told to 'put it on myself'. I was so disgusted I sent the roll back and asked for the check. It left such a sour taste in my mouth I wish I hadn't had to pay for any of the sushi. But at least I know I will NEVER go back.

Ginja Sushi is in the old 50's diner on Stephanie near Warm Springs. They've remodeled it quite well; it's very nice inside. Persons entering the establishment are greeted by all servers and the chefs behind the counter. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. Prices seem modest and there is a selection of saki available. A party of two can order a sampler type plate of sushi and leave satisfied for about $20. I'll definitely be returning in the future.

This place is an upbeat restaurant that serves good sushi and good food. They have great mochi ice cream for desserts. Their sushi is great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
