04/12/2010 12:58 pmFirst off I am a foodie. I love all things food and love hole in the wall places like this. Went last night after church. When we walked in there was no one in the restaurant but the owner and his wife, but it reminded me of one of the sushi bars I used to frequent while I was in San Diego. The restaurant is small but decorated very simply. I felt like I had just walked in off the street somewhere in Japan. This is the first time since I have been in JAX that I have seen Udon noodles on the menu so I knew it had to be good. We had spicy tuna roll, Philly roll, and shrimp tempura roll. I had the seafood udon soup. The sushi was amazing so fresh, the best since I had left San Diego. The udon was made with fresh shrimp, scallops, salmon, and crab meat. The soup was light and refreshing and the noodles were done to perfection. The owner and his wife were very friendly and we actually ended up staying an hour after they closed talking with them. If you have had good Japanese food before and looking for it in JAX I highly suggest you go to Ginza. During the month of April 30% off the entire bill. |

03/20/2010 3:32 amI went there for a visit to see my parents and had the sudden urge to get some sushi and stumble across this little quaint restaurant. It is quite small but it feels like home though. Once you step inside you feel like you're part of the restaurant as the servers are super friendly and kind. The price are very generous compared to other Japanese restaurants and the quality is on par. I'd suggest to my friends if they were looking for a quick bite of Japanese food anyday! |

06/24/2009 3:49 pmThis is the best sushi I had while I lived in Jacksonville. My favorite was probably the Tampa roll. It's fried and has delicious spicy sauce on it. There are plenty of other ones to chose from but that is my favorite! Try it for yourself..it's worth it! The delivery here is quick and the staff is very friendly. |
