Greektown Casino, Detroit, Michigan Restaurant Details

took 45 minutes to get the money from the machine. apparently their machines were down, yet failed to tell people as they were coming in. the guys in the suits were telling the people that were paying to shut machines down. i told 4 different employees about the problem, and all said they'd send someone, but this casino failed. I'm not upset about losing money, but my time and my patience was not worth a return visit. mind you this is the 3rd time I've been there. the last time was in the middle of summer and all of the air conditioning units weren't working. this place is a joke! I'll never be back there. id rather set my money on fire at least that will only take a few minutes to burn!

Uppity , ignorant , incompetent gorilla faced African woman dealer , ... I was playing a oriental card game at a table ...only one dealer in the house who knew how to deal it ...when he went on break ... she comes in , not knowing the game, and talking down to me , like a typical AA woman .

Very tired of this ghetto casino! Every single time I go there they are doing more and more renovations. Re-routing people. Re-routing the sheeple herding them into a stream of slots that cost 50 cents per spin. They are getting rid of more and more of the cheap slots every day and putting those 40 - 50 cent per spin slots. They are not fooling me one bit ! I know exactly what they are doing. They put any cheap slots left on the ground level away from the majority of the herd coming through. I am tired of this Casino and will be going somewhere else. Sick of all the construction all the time ! oh yes , you will also notice every time you go more and more table games all over the place replacing any favorite slots you might have come to love in past visits.
OH yea! I forgot to add how you can't even hear the sound on 70 % of the slots you play in the ground level. These are where a lot of the cheap machines are and they will not fix the sound. Go try to play HeeHaw in the ground level. You will not hear a single one.

And dear " Response from the owner " none needed , I have seen enough and have made my choice.

Not a huge fan of casinos whatsoever. On the flip side, this is the only casino that I will ever actively choose to go to. Comfortable surroundings. Awesome staff. People watching is sublime.

Detroit Casinos are a rip off. I live in the area and have been to Greektown several times. It is a complete joke.

When I play slots in other states (Vegas, cruise ships, etc.) I notice it's a hit or miss. You win some, you lose some- you know the drill.

Detroit? Different story. It's a lose-lose every time.

You'll start by noticing that they don't have your favorite game. Why? Because it pays out too much. Hence the reason it's your favorite. The entire outfit feels like it's out to just take your money.

The city is corrupt, I would have no doubt that the casinos follow suite.

Bottom line- don't waste your time at any casino in Detroit. It will take your money and show you nothing for it.
