I went to Green Acres expecting tasty wings with a tasty sauce that came from grandma's cookin, yet I was encountered with tasteless, but well fried wings that were only covered with blobs of hot sauce. Fried okra was simple and well fried.
I was expecting a great soul food restaurant, but it came short with food that grandma did not cook.

Every item I have tried here truly tastes like it was made in your mom's or grandma's kitchen. No chain restaurant, freeze dried taste here. This is the real deal, from the pork chops to the fish, whiting or catfish, to the excellent potato salad and cakes. And the prices are so good that I sometimes feel bad for paying so little.

This is a diamond of a hidden jewel.
