04/17/2015 6:10 pmI went here based on urban spoon recommendations. This placed literally knocked my socks off! I had chicken cordon bleu casserole and truffle fries. Amazing! |

02/22/2015 7:56 amIf you like this place than you clearly have no idea what food is. A great portion of the food is frozen, right off the Sysco truck and as a former insider I was personally witness to this establishment ordering pizza from a local pizza delivery service, reboxing it then charging 10 times the price to a customer that trusted the Gateau with a catering job. These people are criminal in their practice and their food and service is far below par. DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO A RESTAURANT JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG TIME!! This particular restaurant only survives based on the financial contributions of the owners family and the possible and quite convincing insurance payment from burning down a church the family owned. EVIL PEOPLE STAY AWAY DO NOT SUPPORT. |

12/31/2013 7:40 pmI love the place. My first experience was so-so, I was just not super impressed with the dish I had. The staff were very kind and offered me something else. I am the type that if I order it, I eat it. But second visit I had a much better meal. Same at a lot of other places, sometimes you just pick something that you don't really like. Not anything wrong with the service. Price is about right on most items and I like that it is located a little outside of downtown so parking is not as much of a hassle. I am handicapped so walking very far in the cold becomes an issue pretty quickly. |
