If your in the meat packing and you want a trendy, Asian fusion food this is the place to be. They serve every plate family style so when you come make sure your really hungry. The drinks, food were very good and the staff were extremely friendly.

Awesome Vegan coffee house in South Philly. They have tons of vegan doughnuts/pastries. My favorite is their Seitan sandwich, the pickles are bomb.

Absolutely WONDERFUL selection of non-dairy "milks" and "creamer"--coconut, almond, soy, hemp?, oat? (not sure about those last two, but I think you get the point). Basically, if you NEED that non-dairy fix, this is the place to go. I used to live a couple blocks away and was absolutely ADDICTED to the coffee, the "Greenwich" (reminds me of life in NYC), and of course the vibe. Now that I live a neighborhood away, I still hunker down and do the 20 minute walk (no car, typically my bike is in disrepair). I will SEE YOU THERE!!!!

Last visit here the staff was a LOT more outgoing and friendly with me. I can't help but feel like when I walk in somewhere with my big belly and beard I give off a "typical South Philly guy" vibe, and that in a place like this where everyone thinks incredibly highly of their alterna-ness, they assume I'm going to be a pain in their ass and treat me like crap from the start. On this particular trip I was queeny as hell from the get-go, and it seemed like their attitudes changed dramatically because of this. I guess that's a good thing. So the better attitude plus the amazingly delicious grapefruit tea (no mint) makes me upgrade by a star.
