05/01/2016 6:13 pmGrumpy's is a serious eats place. Been many times over the last couple of years, and it always delivers on the food. Want big portions? This is your place. Want good down home grub? This is your spot. The focus is on the food. It can be a little cramped/crowded at times, and the wait is sometimes long if you like to sleep late, but this is just a testament to quality of their product. Thurston Howell and Lovie probably wouldn't approve of the surroundings or atmosphere, but Remember: THE FOCUS IS ON THE FOOD. |

12/25/2015 4:35 pmFood is delicious for a really good price. This isn't an ihop or Denny's it's a Mexican cafe so I only order the tacos. Huge plate for 3$ and so delicious. Service has been fast and friendly both times I have been. Only complaint I have is that refills on things such as the orange juice cost extra but it's so cheap as it is I don't mind paying a little extra! |

12/22/2015 7:45 pmOne of my favorite places. It covers southern breakfast and Mexican plates perfectly. Only place I know I can order chicken fried steak or a taco and get the best version possible of both. Plus, their portions are crazy generous. |

07/09/2015 9:01 amBeen going to Grumpy's for several years. Always get great service, never had to wait long for a table, I get more food than I can eat, it tastes great, AND I NEVER HAVE TO ASK FOR A COFFEE REFILL, as my cup stays full! Decor is rustic and place is full of local flavor....so if your looking Ritz-Carlton setting, and other snooty yuppy types to sit with, DON'T GO THERE. We don't like to gag on your overused perfume while we eat, anyway. |
