Gyros has always been an awesome place to come to eat at. Old fashioned style with a mom and pop atmosphere. There is no promise of a five-star-bow-tie attire. If that's what's preferred take your food critiquing self somewhere else.

Worst dinner experience ever! I recently took my family there. First our order was wrong. All the tables were dirty. When I bought the issue up the cashier handed me a cold bleach rag. While we were eating we were being bombarded by flies. Then there was live roaches on the floor and wall. I told the cashier about them. The cook came out removed his shoe and smashed the one on the wall. Leaving the body on the floor and entrails on the wall. By this time my kids couldn't eat anymore. I got up to get a To go box but by the time hot back to the table flies were all over our food. $65 wasted. The next day I called no one knew the owners contact info. A few days later I called and spoke to a manager who assuredly me that I would get a call from the owner. That call has never happened.

Crispy Dawgs are the best, burgers are grest, fish is awesome, you don't find places like this anymore, no Coroprate here, just good food.

Food is decent. My complaint is its one of those places that when u ask for extra salsa, tartar, Greek sauce, instead of informing u of an up charge, they flat out just don't give it to u. I order togo and I hate having to root thru my bag to look for condiments I asked for. It's like ordering 5 tacos and only getting 3 salsas. If it's gonna cost an extra 50 cents then tell me and I'd be happy to pay it rather than play the hide and seek they think is saving them money. Also, the counter help should be better trained. When asked what brand ice cream they served the girl told me vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry before I cut her off and re- asked my question. All I got was a shrug and a reply, " it's ice cream". Wow ! If u enjoy trustworthy service u can rely on don't eat here unless u have a seafood or gyro craving and don't want to drive to loopland for Sea Island or Demos. The prices are comparable.
