This is the best Mexican restaurant in Anchorage. Their food is awesome. The two different salsas they offer with the chips as a snack before the meal are the best in Anchorage. The fajitas come out sizzling hot and large enough to easily share. We haven't had a meal there we haven't liked.

two major issues with this gross place!
1/ the servers have major attitudes! especially the white BIG chick with short hair bundled up sometimes, has a nasty attitude! Rude b**ch! also that stupid idiot Ximena or whatever her F*ckin hoe/tramp name is on the streets!

2/the restaurant stinks! not sure if it's the carpet floor or the bathroom around the corner. the kitchen never gets the order correctly!

Never going back there again. I'm sure the owner is not aware of the servers and the kitchen cooks ignorance.

If you want lots of bean dip, go here, get good food, little bloated, but still decent.

I have been working with the owners of Hacienda Mexican Restaurant AND Hacienda Food and Bar in Wasilla for nearly 20 years. They are regular and generous sponsors of the community service radio campaigns we organize to help Alaskan kids, and to deter drinking and driving, and to promote charitable giving. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a local business more community minded.
