Hamburger Station, Akron, Ohio Restaurant Details

Totally agree that the Manager is rude and would never recommend anyone eating there. Not very nice guy.

I love the Hamburger Station food! We moved here from a smaller city and to have this gem nearby made life a little better. I wish I could say the same for the manager. We were there yesterday and he was completely rude and inappropriate. Not only did he make us feel like we were inconveniencing him but he had one of the nice girls tell us that they don't do drive-thru orders for breakfast! One time would have gotten your message across buddy. Needless to say we won't ever be going to the location of Canton Road solely because of the main manager, avoid him like the plague! Grumpy man with no manners. Wish he worked at another one so we could continue to eat their delicious food, but simply can't support someone so Awful. I hope that the owners read this and will reconsider his position, he is dreadful.

Food:

Every time I'm near the Station I get the Family Size 12 Burgers, 2 "Real" Onion Rings & 3 Carnival Fries. My order is taken quickly & filled shortly after I reach the window. Making an order this size "Fresh" takes a little time. On the way home I can't wait to have some Hot Onion Rings & Fries.

I was at your establishment on October 10. I order gyros for my family and when I got them home and took them out of the bag you could tell that they where ICE COLD. They did not get that cold from driving home. You could tell that these gyros were made way ahead of time and put in the refrigerator. I had to heat them up in the microwave which made them taste terrible. We could not eat them!! So we threw them out!. How can you stay in business if you're going to serve crap like that? Not only that why do you insist on putting almost a pound of onion on each sandwich? No one want's to eat that much onion. After this mess up I will no longer frequent your establishment.

Food:

The food is excellent. It's a great alternative to White Castle. It's too bad the staff is almost always sub-par. More often than not, my order is messed up somehow. I'm not sure if this is company protocol but the drive-thru service is often just an impolite "go ahead" followed by "$x.xx". Go there if that's what you're in the mood for, otherwise you should probably steer clear of it.
