This place was one of the best places ive ever ate at. The food was great and so was the atmosphere. I took my girlfriend there for dinner and she loved it just as much as I did. Later that night I got laid thanks to that place. She enjoyed it so much that were going back there again next Saturday. Great food , great service, wonderful atmosphere, and all around a great place.

Not recommended, first and only time. My beautiful, wonderful girlfriend and I dined here at 8pm on a Friday. We both agreed the meal was a failure. The restaurant is caught between a higher end menu and a much more casual dining experience. I will note that the wine by the bottle was well priced. We sent our soup back because it was luke warm, but tasty when it came back hot. The bread was pretty good, except they brought two small rolls in a big basket for our entire meal - no refills. One of our dishes, a seafood pescatore was inedible. Either: one of the seafood components had gone bad or was not cooked correctly, because we both agreed that it was offensive. I had to spit my taste out. We were credited another dish, but that dish was mediocre, and of course came out 10 minutes after my dish was finished. I ordered a veal meatloaf that was OK, but still smothered in melted cheese, as is typical of Akron dining.

The wait staff was pretty out to lunch. I felt that our server was too aggressive. We asked him a few questions about prices and menu with replies like "I don't know." It also took us 10 minutes to get our order in. And all of the water (including the soft drink) tasted off, like it was tap water that had been sitting out for an hour. Overall, not recommended.

This is our favorite lunch spot for my coworkers and myself. The prices are very fair and we love the food. We always have a good time here.

The food is yummy (especially the tomato soup with gorganzola croutons), the prices reasonable and the service quite nice.

Even our most discerning coworker enjoys eating here, which is saying something.

I'd recommend Bistro to anyone looking for a step-up place to eat -- and would definitely recommend it over a few other local Italian restaurants that have unduly rosy reputations.

I ordered a simple pasta dish with brown pasta. The portions were so small, I was more hungry after I left. Won't be going back.
