Great breakfast! I had bacon and eggs and my friend had the breakfast burrito. Both pretty good. I recommend giving it a try. It's not overpriced like Village Grill or 24th street. The place only has one long countertop to sit at but it wasn't a problem at all.

No fries! But the best Ortega burger on the west coast. If you are fortunate to order breakfast they offer the ultimate Chile Verde Omlette at the best price around. Made the trip from Seattle to Bakersfield worth it! Did I mention that the owner is my sister??

Absolutely delightful!! Bumped into this place by accident, (although, long-time Bako friends have suggested this place) and I was not disappointed! Food was yummy and service was excellent! Will return.

Happy Jack's is a no nonsense place. The menu is simple. Cash only. Very limited seating. It's a obsessive compulsive dream. The owner reminds me of a very nice version of the Soup Nazi. Don't ask for requests. Enjoy your meal how they present it to you. I love this place.
