A decent enough hotel, but the resort part falls a bit flat. The restaurants and all generally of mediocre quality. The gaming floor is a bit dated, but in a strangely cozy and comforting sort of way that is actually welcome IMHO.

Rooms need an update, but the hotel is generally priced attractively enough to outweigh that. The location right next to the Reno arch is a nice bonus and you can easily walk across the street to get an "Awful Awful" burger at the Little Nugget, which is something you shouldn't miss while in Reno.

Well this is a tourist trap ! And all the management lie too you . It's not a good deal and with taxes and resort fee it's expensive. I felt uncomfortable if I even showered I have too pay for water and towels . Bad experience. Don't stay here if traveling .

I drove from Seattle to reno for a 24 hour vacation. I arrived around 1230am. I used priceline and played 36 a night. I picked harrahs because of their pet rooms. upon checking in I was greeted by a disgruntled person named Mikaela. this person was short and rude. upon arrive I found out that it wouldn't be an addition 26$ but rather $60 per night for the pet fee plus 26$ due at check out and an up front $50 a night for incidentals. that's 246$ on top of the 89$ I had paid for the room already. ($345 for 2 nights in a 36$ room. (mind you as per their sign the $50 a night charge would eventually get released) after over 1.5 hours trying to check in finally albert the manager was able to get me in. once we got our keys we headed up and found a room with bloody napkins on the floor, urine stains all over the bed, no bedding period and the most disgusting putrid animal urine smell I've ever encountered. when I called albert brought up security (which made me feel like I had done something wrong) and the housekeeping manager. upon further inspection I found a turd in the toilet and vomit and needles in the bathroom. albert did move us rooms and wave the 120$ in pet fees. which are a complete joke. I've never wrote a negative review before but this was absolutely the worst. I imagine the non pet rooms are better but 100% mikaela was rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. after talking with people at the surrounding casinos I found a few former employees who knew exactly who I was talking about. think twice before bringing your pet there. slow drink service, not a very happening space. we spent all our time at cal Neva and el Dorado.

will NEVER return.

As a hotel this place is severely lacking. To begin, the pool, gym and gift shop all close at 7pm. All the drink machines cost the same as the mini bar. They offer no room service. No conditioner is provided in the bathroom and room service left a wet towel. The Internet policy is not explained and only allows two devices. Television only includes 16 channels and does not include HBO. The bed is fairly comfortable and the room relatively clean but these are qualities you could get out of any motel. Not worth the price at all.
