05/05/2016 6:52 pmI was underwhelmed. This was recommended to us by the desk staff at the Radisson. The table was dirty and had dressing or some type of sauce spilled on it. The hostess didn't seem to know what I was talking about, she did go get a dirty rag and make a half hearted effort to wipe it up. Her method was not terribly sanitary but since we weren't eating directly from the table I reluctantly let the cleanliness go. Our server was actually named Harrison and he was a shining star; very personable and on top of things. He made helpful suggestions and paid attention to our beverages. We ordered the crabcake appetizer which was delicious. The coconut shrimp was pretty good. The bartender Manny seemed to be having a horrible day. He didn't make eye contact and ignored our party for nearly 5 minutes even though he wasn't terribly busy. Eye contact, a smile, or "I'll be right with you" goes a long way. Overall, the food was ok, I would give it three and a half stars but the staff was so unenthused that they brought my whole experience down. |

04/14/2016 9:24 pmFriendly waitresses and cute gift shop. Interesting jewelry, beach clothes, and postcards. I picked out a glass float and a seashell candle to go with all the shells I found out by Galveston. They are right next to a park and a short walk to the Selena statue. |

03/25/2016 6:21 pmAtmosphere is great. They had a floating dock which is really neat (I tend to get sea sick so we moved to the outside patio area). It's right in the marina so you can watch boats come in and out. Nice happy hour specials if you are there during the week. The food was delicious! Probably the best lobster bisque I have ever had! The shrimp cocktail was delicious too! The service was wonderful as well! We went while they had live music, was nice to sit on the water have a drink and listen to music! A for sure go to place |

03/14/2016 10:38 amJust ate there last night. It was good going down but not so much coming back up. My husband and daughter ordered the Angus Burgers. Before we could make it home to Houston, my daughter was throwing up. By the time we reached Houston both my husband and daughter were hugging the toilet. I even saw one of the waiters pick food from a completed order before delivering it to the table. I will be notifying the health inspector. If there was an option to give less than one star I would. Eaters beware. |

03/14/2016 3:21 amTerrible dining experience. Waited over an hour for a table only to find out they had forgotten to put us on the list. At first one waitress tried to lie and said she called us despite the fact we were sitting mere feet away. At no point did we receive an apology or acknowledgement from any of the staff about this. The waiter then spent more time flirting with the girls at the table next to us than waiting our table, forgetting to get the drinks we ordered and in general relying on other staff to serve our food while he sat down and talked to the girls at another table. In addition, the food quality is average at best and definitely overpriced. Would not return or recommend. |
