The bartender is amazing, try his oatmeal cookie. The drinks are great and the price is right.

Really great bar & grill disguised as a hole in the wall. Tony was a bit of an arse but he's gone so. Memorabilia galore and attests to legitimacy of integrity. Get over here eh.

I love this place. It's got that bizarre mix of Tenderloin denizens that sort of makes my heart swell: this is the melting pot! There are down and outers asleep over their beers, blacks, whites, Latinos, law students, and regulars putting enough money on the jukebox for everyone in the bar to choose a couple songs.

The bartender (owner?) is Irish, and there is Irish-pride paraphernalia on the walls, but also pictures of Frederick Douglas, the old 49ers, and dogs.

And, like most bars in the Tenderloin, the women's bathroom is protected under lock and key, so it's always totally pristine!
