I don't even think they deserve a star. I will never go there again. They were some of the rudest people I have ever met.

The wait staff was great. The ambience was ok. It was mid January when we went so there was a horrible draft coming in every time someone went through the doors. The food was was overpriced but I freely admit I'm not into the organic/local food scene.

service was excellent, no complaints there. atmosphere was ok, not great. food sucked, especially for how much you're paying. best part of the meal was the free soup appetizer. ordered a side of mushrooms, which were quite gritty. another of us ordered fish, which was bland and boring. i ordered steak, and it was quite underdone and kinda cold. i ordered medium rare, and it was very rare, and it might be forgivable except that it was a $27 steak and its not that f-ing hard to cook a steak right. server saved the meal, but i'm never going back.

The service was courteous and timely. Staff was appropriately friendly and helpful. The food was all superbly fresh and prepared with care in all cases. I had a sampling of the small plates. The scallops were some of the best I have tasted even in coastal settings. The rabbit confit was delectable and tender. Wine list is much more than adequate. I especially like the selection of half-bottles.

Not worth the money or location in a city like Madison that has amazing restaurants!!
Overpriced food that you can make it better yourself at home by following the first recipe you find online.

The food was terrible and not worth the price. I went there for the Summer Restaurant Week 2015. As for the food, I tried the so-called chicken confit and it was fried chicken with none of the velvetness and flavor I have come to expect from confits. The watermelon gazpacho had some interesting flavors but was impossible to eat an entire bowl. Now to the entrees, the pork was dry, there was no sauce whatsoever and the plating was completely sloppy like they just through the food on the plate on top of a cornbreadish toast that was entirely too sweet. The stout braised beef was terrible, again no sauce, dry meat, very undersalted, with an underdone potato salad. For dessert, the mousse was flavorless, it was supposed to be hazelnut but it just tasted like cream. Also, the baba oh rhum was super dense and the only flavor was sugar. Other than the food I will note that our server rushed us out of the restaurant in less than an hour and never asked us if we wanted a drink. I am super disappointed.
