There is simply no easier way to describe going to this deli than this- you will be treated like a tourist every single time you step in. I work around the block and (unfortunately) had to go there daily until i found better options. They routinely ignore you and will serve people they are "friends" with way before anyone else who had been waiting patiently in line. You MUST repeat your order several times and even so there will still be a roughly 50-60% chance they messed up some part of your order. This review isnt coming from someone who will routinely write up bad reviews, I was extremely patient, giving this place time after time to prove me wrong; but it simply is what it is. This place may have some more affordable prices but the lack of detail they pay to your order is ridiculous. At this point sometimes I just go in to order a simple sandwich and laugh when it comes out preposterously wrong. Oh, and did i mention if you ask for your sandwich to be corrected you will be surely talked about in Spanish (they didn't realize i was semi fluent). Take the time to walk a block down and not patron this abysmally run store.

I come here for fresh salad bars a the time. Whether it's cold or warm veges with my favorite squid, I'm faithfully coming here. Then food bar is sanitary. Plus, their soup is affordable too.

I have been going here for years, only out of convenience (read: laziness). I have to agree with what many of the people on Yelp are saying: the employees are RUDE RUDE RUDE. They always have been for the 15 years I've lived a couple blocks away.

I hadn't ordered a sandwich there for a while, so I stopped in yesterday early evening. I've never had a turkey sandwich in NYC that was sooooo skimpy on the turkey! It was pathetic. And, since I asked for it toasted, the guy squished the wheat bread into the panini press (not the toaster, which was a couple feet away), and ripped the hell out of both slices of bread when removing them. It's very tough to eat a ripped sandwich containing mayo & mustard without getting it all over yourself!

I ate a sandwich here on Sunday afternoon. I have been in bed for two days now with food poisoning. I will never eat here again. I now see that it has a B rating. My sandwich had salami cheese and lettuce. My doctor says that what ever I ate was loaded with bacteria.
