Higgins Crab House, Ocean City, Maryland Restaurant Details

Beware coming here toward the end of the season. Staff becomes rude as all they care about is closing up and getting out. You, as a paying customer, are just in the way. Our last (and probably final) visit, our waitress was more concerned with mopping the floor than helping us. Finally got around to getting our food which was cold by then, and without bothering to wash her hands between mopping and picking up our food. Then had the nerve to chase us into the parking lot for leaving "too small" of a tip.

During the summer the food is decent and staff is good, but would still recommend their North location over this one.

Been here several times and have always had good food & yesterday it was 8 of us and everybody's meal was great. This is my first stop for a good meal for sure. Oldude

Very expensive for what you get, small portions, my wife had crab cakes that had shells in them, the "side" of slaw was about a tablespoon in size and the clam platter was more of a clam 1/2 plate. I had to ask for the tartar sauce..not included with the meal. Price? $57. You gotta be kidding me..... Our last trip there for sure.

Excellent all u can eat crabs. Excellent waiter Bob. Bob asked if we knew how to eat crabs but we sure didn't know until he showed us how.
Boy, did we learn a lesson! Glad to see Bob showed us how eat crabs!!

LOVED the crab dip and hush puppies! Highly recommend the Jumbo crabs as well! We were seated quickly and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable when it came to the menu. They will even provide a crab picking lesson for the inexperienced. Definitely kid friendly as well with a menu to accommodate the little ones!
