Now closed. But was awful the only time I went there. Not shocked it went out of business.

I've eaten here a handful of times b.c. I was invited by others, and each time it smelled fishy. That's not a good sign in a sushi place. There are too many other better places in walking distance in Manyunk.

Recently went and the food was good but the service, price, and atmosphere were terrible. We were the only ones eating in the entire restaurant at 6:30pm on a Friday night and it took an hour to get served. I am pretty sure there was only one cook and one waiter in the entire restaurant. Out of business soon for sure.

Be warned: Hikaru tries to pass off whitefish as tuna!

I ordered the tuna teriyaki and received a buttery whitefish. When I informed the waitress that I ordered the tuna, she came back and said it was the "Super White Tuna." Upon further prodding she said that the fish might be in the same family as tuna. Finally, it was conceded that it actually wasn't even in the same family. The chef admitted that people in Japan would never eat this fish, but that Americans seem to like it. The most likely reason for not consuming this type of fish...parasites : (

Now this is not the kind of place I would go back to, although I must say that the waitstaff was understanding.

I should say as a disclaimer that I have nothing against whitefish (most likely jack), but when I order tuna and pay tuna prices...I expect tuna!

I have been to this restaurant several times and never again. Upon sitting down a cockroach climbed up the wall next to our table. We moved to another table and yet another cockroach was climbing on the upholstery on the seat back. The restaurant staff did nothing except reset the table we had left for their next customers. We left without eating. Will never go back as there are many better and CLEANER sushi places in the city.
