Food:

This is a great place for sushi. The rolls are made quite large. You definitely get you money's worth. The server was professional, patient, and knowledgeable of entire menu. My husband and I tried two sakes. They were exactly as described, but not really our taste. That does not take away from the experience though. We will return and would recommend this restaurant to others

Great lunch spot that has put together a huge gluten free menu of both some sushi options as well as a ton of more traditionally Chinese-style entrees.

House Salad with Carrot Ginger Dressing - good, almost French-style dressing
Kung Pao Chicken - good, not super spicy

Food:

This place was described like the Nobu of Omaha. It isn't. I have not had sushi at other Omaha locations but while it was creative, we had one with cream cheese in it, the flavors were not bold. The food was excellently displayed. The service was awesome. I am willing to go back but not for the sushi.

We've been to Hiro multiple times and usually reserve it for our "expensive dinner" nights. The fried jalepeños in oil were amazing even with the seeds left in. Their sushi is top notch and the raspberry chocolate cake is unlike any cake I have ever tasted; just amazing. I highly recommend this place for any sushi lover that has more than a few bucks to spend. I'm sure their regular food is good too although I've never tried it.

On a quest I was, looking for a place to fill my tum tum after a long days work. After having a couple drinks I decided to venture out on foot to see what succulent cuisine awaited me. I searched "food near me" into Google as I was too drunk to think of a great place and it laid out in front of me many options. I checked them, one by one, near and far. It was all for naught as every eatery had shut down for the night, but I was determined! Just then, out of the corner of my eye I spyed a red pixel out of the millions on my 5.6 inch phone representing a waypoint; my prize of satiated hunger was within reach. A sushi place, "Hiro 88", was suggested. I marched forward into the unknown not fully knowing what my fate held. After a long and arduous 3 min journey I arrived at the oriental palace. A magical tree of lights marked the gate to this castle. I entered slowly and made my way down a long hallway towards two women, who I assume were royalty, and presented my story, "I do not possess clothing which has sleeves. May I enter your establishment?" They replied yes most graciously. Phone's dying, can't finish story. Food was good though and happy rules!
