Ordered food to go. The staff was courteous and the food war ready promptly.
My wife and daughter had udon, which they enjoyed. We shared gyoza, which were quite tasty. My yakisoba tasted pretty good, too. Unfortunately, I bit down on a piece of glass about the size of a peppercorn that was in my food.
Might have been a result of the large banging sound I heard in the kitchen while I was waiting for my order. Accidents happen, but you have to clean up properly after.

Great sushi - best in town, and PonyBoy jazz recording artists on Fridays, no cover!

I have been a customer of Hiroshi's since the beginning (when he bought the resturant from Tommy's). The food was great and service was outstanding, HOWEVER, in the past year something has happened and the service is unimaginable TERRIBLE! I am an American and Japanese is my second language. Not aware of this, the servers spoke rudely and laughed out loud about the Non-Japanese customers. I will never return and because I was a regular I felt compelled to let others know about this experience. There are too many other wonderful options in the Seattle area that are worth patronizing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!!!

I've been to a handful of sushi restaurants in Seattle, and this is by far one of my worst experiences to date. The fish looked like it was cut with a dull hatchet; I had to pick a fleck of god-knows-what off of one of the pieces of salmon, and we couldn't even consider touching what was supposed to be the albacore. One of the rolls had so much hot sauce on it that you couldn't taste anything else. The large house sake was $10 and was pretty awful. We couldn't get outta there fast enough. Too bad, because the jazz was pretty kickin' and it seemed like a decent joint. Perhaps the other food (entres and apps) is better, but I'm sure I'll never know. Hana, I'll never stray again... ;-{
