Come here for the fried chicken. Looking at the menu I wasn't seeing everything I was hoping for, like grits. I ordered the 3 piece fried chicken with a side of mac and cheese, $11. The chicken and mac were very good. There are plenty of tables. The decorations are nice in the restaurant. The atmosphere is fun.

Fresh fried chicken that's worth the wait! They make their own white gravy, too, and serve it with potato salad, collards, and sweet tea. The other dishes looked good, too, but everyone at my table who didn't order the fried chicken felt jealous of the golden brown goodness that the rest of us were eating. You can share a whole friend chicken between two people or get an assortment of pieces for the table. Most patrons seemed to know each other from the neighborhood, which made for a friendly, fun atmosphere. Hidden gem!
