I went to The Hobbit last for maybe the 8-9th time in the last 5 years. Last night the food was amazing as always! Our waitress was also wonderful! Absolutely worth every penny! I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in town! I recommend this restaurant for anyway who wants a wonderful fine dining experience.

Very disappointing. Group of 4 and 3 of 4 got a bad meal. The duck breast was very good...very good. My companion had a tuna tartare appetizer that really did not look especially fresh, nor did it look high grade enough to be served raw. The cream of crab soup was not good. VERY thin, salty and not at all creamy. One of our guests sent their entree back because it was not properly cooked. Our other companion had the "catch" of the day. Incredibly small piece of fish for about $30.00. Dinner for 4 with a tip came to about $240.00. Too much for the quality of the food. Sunset got two stars. Maybe it was a bad night, but we were very disappointed. Wait staff was friendly and professional.

Excellent service and amazing food. Great atmosphere. Easy reservations and friendly people. Accommodated my young children even though there is no kids menu. Cooked them chicken tenders and fries even though not available as any option. My wife had seared ahi tuna and was amazed by the great flavor. I had the peppered swordfish and it was tender and had great flavor. The raspberry cheesecake actually was raspberry in the cheesecake mixture instead of just on top. Delicious!

Went on 05/24, Memorial Day Weekend. This is by far my favorite place to eat int OCMD. my wife and I have come here for the past 3 years and they have never failed us yet. the food is superb, I always get the specials to try something new every time, and have not had a bad meal yet. Their service is great our food came out in enough time to where we were not being hurried, but also not waiting for our next course. this is a very romantic restaurant to take someone special to, it is on the bay side and the back wall is a huge window from one side of the room to the other, the sunsets are so amazing and relaxing to watch while you dine. Every time we come to ocmd the first thing we make reservations for is the Hobbit.
