My wife and I came to Lubbock for the night for a concert. Upon arrival, we were both hungry, but we wanted to find some place local. After searching Lubbock's top rated restaurants, we quickly notice the great reviews on for The Crafthouse Gastropub, and figured we would give it a shot. Boy, we're we glad we did!!! This has to be some of the best food we have both EVER had! Ali, our server, and the Restaurant Supervisor, was wonderful! The service was great and the food was even better!!! We started off with "The Pickle Jar" for an appetizer, which was just that! A wide mouth Ball mason jar with pickled cucumbers, carrots, and cauliflower. It was fantastic!!! The perfect mix between that sweet "bread and butter" style and "vinegar dill" style! And they pickle them in house!!!(These were so good we got an order to go!!) For our entrées, my wife had The All American Burger with everything on it, add avocado, which I have to say was the most beautifully presented burger I've ever seen!!! It was served with "Twice fried fries" which were amazing, and the in house homemade ketchup was great! I had the Schnitzel plate, which was the breaded veal cutlet, boiled egg and capers, and sour kraut mashed potatoes. It was all absolutely phenomenal, but the kraut mashed potatoes were to die for!!! What an amazing blend of flavors, and the capers set them off!!! And for dessert we shared the "Cake in a Jar", which was simply heavenly!!
All in all, the place is amazing all the was around! Atmosphere, Service, and Food get 5 stars from this guy!!! I will tell anyone I know coming to Lubbock that this place is a must!!!
Oh, and did I mention their selection of beer is impeccable!!!!
12 out of 10!!! Thank you so much Craft house Gastropub for making our visit fantasic! We will be back EVERY time we come down to Lubbock!!!

The food here is great and very unique. They have on of the more unique vibes in town and their bar selection is good. Probably the only place in lubbock that you can catch early morning futbol. Nice staff and usually not a terrible wait. highly recommend.

Fun atmosphere, more grownup than a college bar, but still fun. Awesome beef selection, but I feel the food gets too fancy sometimes and doesn't taste as good as I would hope.

Great beer list, friendly staff and mostly good food. It can get very crowded and the food quality usually goes down when super busy. Decent vegetarian options. Best thing on the menu: banofee pie!
