Homestead Mesa, Mesa, Arizona Restaurant Details

Food:

Absolutely disgusting. The carpet is so filthy I didn't want my cat to walk on it. This is advertised as a fully stocked kitchen, yet there was not one thing there. We made our reservation 2 weeks in advance ( we are moving from Michigan to AZ and have 30 days before we close on our new house). I can't understand why there were no plates, cups, silverware.... The staff said they have to order it. What happened to the items form previous rentals? Order it from where?? When will they finally order it? We asked the front desk for a wine opener and they didn't even have that on hand.

We paid for a week in advance and now we are trying to find another place and staying with family. The free breakfast?? Coffee and a granola bar.

The photos show a couch and a desk but our room had neither. No pool, no fitness center, why would anyone want to stay there for an extended time?

The clerk made a copy of my id, and my credit card at check-in as though I was a bad girl or criminal, And they. Needed it for records...And what's funny is I made my reservation through expedia or whatever..so tthat was very unnesary..they did that...And they felt, the need to keep it on file..I extended my stay again the 2nd day..and. they did it again..made a copy of my id and credit card..the bank called me about some fraud..maybe someone there trying something sinister with my information?? The room was clean..but I didn't feel comfortable about how things were handled..I wouldn't. Stay there again..

Food:

I don't know what the others that gave poor reviews were talking about. All I can say is that they must be real prima Donnas. The staff was great and the room was fine. No it is not the Ritz Carlton. I would stay here again with my family.

I know this place is cheap, but I was very unsatisfied. The "non-smoking" room smelled terrible, the trash had not been emptied and was overflowing, there was no toilet paper or towels in the bathroom, the bed was messy, and everything was dirty. I went to the front office and asked for my money back, and thankfully they gave it to me. If you stay here, you'll probably have a better experience than I did, but you could probably find better quality for your money somewhere else.

Food:

This place is awful. The "Queen size bed" is not a Queen but a Full size. The night shift staff was rude and unprofessional. My blanket had dog hair all over it, mind you i do not have a dog. When I asked for a new one the worker replied " We ran out of blankets".... WTH?!?!. The room was so nasty. I really would like my money back.
